Welcome

I   am  so  glad   that   you   are   here

My name is Danielle Caldwell.

I have always been an action oriented individual. I have had a passion for artmaking, collecting, and creating my entire life. I really enjoy an informal creative process, working with materials and items found along life's journey.

I am a local resident, and artist here in the heart of Marysville, Ohio, where I have lived since 2011, and where I began my career with MEVSD during the 2007-08 school year as an elementary art educator. I also have current works showcased at our Local Marysville Art League, as well as installations within our city.

I recently held the school director position at Primrose Early Learning Center in Dublin, Ohio, as well as have recently received a Masters in Teacher Leadership, with American College of Education, along with earning Art Therapy Practitioner Certification just this summer 2025. I like to stay busy!

I wish to use the collection of credentials and certifications that I hold to share my passion through my own personal LLC. The Creative Co-Op with Caldwell.  I feel that I will be able to turn my passion into a reality.

In 2007 I was hired with Marysville Exempted Village School District.  There I had the pleasure of teaching K-4 Visual Art for the past 18 years.  When employed at MEVSD I taught at two elementary school buildings, with modified instruction for high functioning and low functioning needs.  I have also taken the time to implement these modifications into our local school districts educational vision.  This task was completed with intentions for my graduating thesis submission.

I attended Ohio Dominican University where I received my K-12 Visual Art Teaching Certificate in 2006. During this time I became a live-in nanny for a family that I had been providing childcare for. I was able to then earn my field work hours with Gahanna City Schools being the girls daily child care provider.

I am a proud alumni of New Philadelphia High School, class of 99.’

I began my own college career the Fall of 1999, studying Fine Art at Columbus College of Art and Design where I earned my BFA in 2003. I also assisted the curator at the Columbus Museum of Art.  Several credit hours were also being earned at local Columbus campuses over the years.

Aside from being an artist, educator, or administrator; I am also a Mother to two wonderful children.  I have both a daughter and son who are 12 and 11.  They are also very creative and adventurous towards the life that they lead, and for that I am so very thankful.

Recent awards include a permanent work selected by Main St. Marysville to accompany their Traffic Box Selections, as well as 2025 County Fair Mentions with 1st and 3rd ribbons placed, County Show hosted by the Marysville Art League to come.
